A Driving Adventure About to Begin

Blue Steel is about to embark on its longest trip yet: Boston - Philadelphia. Google maps has it at 5 hours 34 minutes. I think Blue Steel can do it in half that time plus four speeding tickets.

Once again I will most likely be drunk out of my mind all weekend and won't post anything until Sunday or Monday, unless I post something while drunk or hungover which would probably be my best post yet, kind of like how I play better basketball when I need to take a shit. It's true. I think my motivation is I need the game to end soon so I won't miss a shot. Okay fine, it only happened once, but I will never forget that glorious afternoon. I could probably play in the NBA if I only played ball when I needed to take a shit, but then, since I would be so uncomfortable while playing, I would come to hate the game. And it would end up only being about the money.

I live not far from philadelphia and so I was expecting a call from you this weekend saying you wanted to meet up while you were in town. Since I never got that call, we are now in a huge fight. drinking beers and yelling out my name during my birthday month (august) is just not enough to sustain our friendship.

Well if that isn't enough, then fine, we don't have to be friends. Also, my geography skills, while usually amazing, are not so good around Philadelphia. I did know Philly was a couple hours or so from New York, but I didn't realize it was essentially due South of NY. Also, I have no idea where Delaware is. Does anybody? You could have always just called me. Anyways, I apologize, sort of.

Its pretty obvious that Delaware is next to Philadelphia since they have a Delaware county that borders Philly. You can be forgiven for this trip, but if you ever plan on setting foot in philadelphia again, I better hear about from you directly, not reading about it on your blog.

Um.. Delaware is tiny. It's not obvious where it is. And I usually don't know what county I am in when I am travelling unless I have to go to court, nor what county borders the town I am in. If you tell me Delaware isn't tiny, then how I am supposed to know where in the state you live?

Basically, we both F'd up. You should have called, I should have called. We can argue all day. All I hear is how you are so busy anyway, so like you would have come out. I'll call if I ever go to Philadelphia again.

Hey, what happened to your road trip? I hope everything was fine and you didn't encounter problems like road violations or car break downs.
